Little Miracles
Friday, September 23, 2011 at 9:48 AM Recently with work, school amongst other things. Many things have been very tough. It has been hard to keep up with deadlines and the like. To the point where things are heavy. I think that everyone have weeks or months like this. And just like everyone else, they don't just happen onec either.
Just a bit of personal background here, I believe in God and am a Christian. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (www.mormon.org). So naturally I have a strong belief that God watches out for us. I know that He cares about us so He sends us these "little miracles" to us when we need them.
In being run off my feet, I've been going all over the place chasing things up. But I have run into so many of my friends throughout the week who have given me a smile to brighten my day. The weather has also warmed up a bit, cheering a few more hearts than just mine, I'm sure. I also had a bit of location change at the office, I now have a window that faces a national park. I also took some time to drive through there this week, going up the mountain and seeing the lights of the city below. Also spending some time with my Grandparents and having lunch with them made my day. There are all kinds of things that have helped me through the week, some natural, some accidental, some very personal; but they have all come together to make a very good week considering the circumstances. I always hope to try and help people throughout the day because you never know what impact that will have on them. There have been times when going somewhere, being all flustered and someone lets me cross the road, or someone lets me in while driving and that makes me a little happier.
I love seeing them, so I will post the ones I see every now and then.
You never know... providing someone with a little miracle might just make someone else's day!

I think you raise a good point here about the importance of small everyday acts of kindness and consideration towards others. They take very little effort on our behalf and yet do a great deal to help others and make them feel better. Its interesting you describe them as 'little miracles' though. Is there anything miraculous about human kindness?
